Dieter 'Typar' Kranenburg

Dieter was born in Hoogkarspel (Holland) on 6-10-1969. He lived there for 3 years and moved to Alkmaar. Followed the MAVO and MTS-Electronica (in Beverwijk). His hobbies where: Music and Mixing.

Grew up with 70's and 80's disco and he says he's still influenced by that music. When he was 9 he started playing the guitar but stopped 5 years later because of the limitations the instrument had. During that time (he was 12 then) he started making mixes with 2 pickups, a taperecorder and a 'knipsetje'. Dieter made mixes for a local radio-pirat, so every week a Dietermix was broadcasted in Alkmaar. When national radio started the homemixing-broadcasted he jumped in. He made megamixes which
where broadcasted as BVD and TrosClubMix. He also made 2 Avro's DriemaalDoordraai mixes

In The early 90s he made hiphop-beattracks for local hiphoppers and in 1994 he started making house/ dancetracks. he knew Robin Albers (Jaydee) and when he 'demo-ed' some of his tracks Robin decided to sign him up on his label FirstImpression. Those first projects: Natural Expression and Deep Modulation. After that he made about 80 12inches for various labels (Outland, Fonky Fibe). Together with Robin and Michel Rozenbroek he started The Sunclub.
The Sunclub had hits like Singlemindedpeople, Splash and 'Que si Que no' with Jody Bernal.

Had some big hits and toured through Holland, Belgium, Germany, Scandinavia, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Asia ans South America.

Together with Michel Rozenbroek he also started a recordcompany (UD&C musicgroup) and a recordlabel (Wacky Remedy).
