Minimixes are the mixes Ben made from 1983 to 1993. They are usually mixes of one track and one artist. They have been broadcasted by Radio Veronica on friday evenings. The dates shown are the dates they were broadcasted for the first time. These mixes are in some occassions the same as on the CDSingles Ben remixed/produced (minimixes used on CDS have links to the tracks-part of this discography). In other occassions they're just 'practice'. If you have additional information about one or more mixes, please mail me.

In 2000 and 2001 the minimixes were broascasted by 538 on Saturday, 10 minutes to 3. On Lindo Duvvall's radioshow.
In 2002 the minimixes were broascasted by 538 on Friday-evending, 10 minutes to 10. On Lindo Duvvall's radioshow.
In 2004 the minimixes were broadcasted by Radio Veronica on Friday -evening in Ben's own show 'In the Mix'
In 2005 the minimixes were broadcasted by Radio Veronica on Saturday -evening in DJ Sven's Disco Inferno show (approx. 21:15).
In 2006 the minimixes were broadcasted by Radio Veronica on Saturday -evening in DJ Sven's Disco Inferno show (approx. 21:15).

The intro of the minimix was partly from the track Return of the antmen by Germain Jackson.

** Allthough allmost all Minimixes were made by Ben, in the beginning some other productions made their way to the tapedecks of the dutch Mixfreaks. Examples:

10 Years MIMIMIX

1993 ended with a big BANG. From 1 januari 1994 Ben stopped making Minimixes for Veronica Radio. They wanted the Grandmixes to be their 'product'. Ben didn't and, after some arguing, stopped making the mixes. He continued producing but didn't have airplay anymore. A couple of fans (the Ben-Talk subscribers) got Ben and Veronica to broadcast one last minimix-happening. On 14 May 1994 (from 17:00-18:00) the following top-11 was broadcasted by Ben Liebrand and Jeroen van Inkel:
